We collect little: the emails you send us and, with your consent where the law requires it, analytics. Here is exactly what and why.

Who we are

Elmrank is a trading name of an individual based in Vietnam. We run this site and decide what is collected on it. If you have a question about your data, write to [email protected].

What we collect

We collect two kinds of data.

  • Emails you send us. This site has no forms and no accounts. If you write to [email protected], we get your email address, your message and anything you attach. We use it to reply and to run any work we agree to do together.
  • Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages are read. It records the page you viewed, your approximate location, your device and browser type, how you arrived and how long you stayed. It does not tell us who you are, and we do not try to find out. What it stores depends on your consent choice, described below.

We do not run advertising on this site and we do not sell personal data.

Cookies and local storage

This is everything the site stores in your browser.

The two Google Analytics cookies are set only after analytics consent is granted (see the next section). Cloudflare sits in front of the site and may use strictly necessary security cookies of its own. We set no other cookies.

How to change your choice

Click Cookie settings in the footer of any page to reopen the banner, then Accept or Decline. You can also clear this site's data in your browser, which removes the saved choice and the cookies.

Who handles your data

We use these providers to run the site. They process data for us under their own terms.

  • Google (Google Analytics 4). Receives the analytics data described above.
  • Cloudflare. Provides the CDN, DNS and email routing. Cloudflare sees the requests made to the site, including your IP address, and receives emails sent to our address before forwarding them to our mailbox.
  • Our hosting provider. The virtual server that runs the site. It processes requests to serve pages and may keep standard access logs for security and troubleshooting.

These providers operate in several countries, including the United States, so your data may be processed outside your country. We are based in Vietnam.

How long we keep it

  • Analytics data: no longer than 14 months, the longest period Google Analytics keeps event-level data.
  • Emails: as long as we need them to reply and to run any work we do together, then until you ask us to delete them.
  • Invoices and payment records: as long as the law requires us to keep them for tax and accounting.
  • Your cookie choice: until you clear your browser data or change it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask us to:

  • tell you what personal data we hold about you and give you a copy;
  • correct data that is wrong;
  • delete your data;
  • stop using your data for a purpose, or restrict it;
  • give you your data in a portable format;
  • withdraw your consent to analytics at any time.

These rights come from laws such as the GDPR and UK GDPR, the California Consumer Privacy Act and the data protection law of Vietnam. We apply them to everyone, wherever you live.

To use any of them, email [email protected] from the address you want us to look up. We may ask you to confirm it is yours. We reply within 30 days. It costs nothing. If you are in the EEA or the UK and are not happy with our answer, you can complain to your local data protection authority.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not discriminate against anyone who uses these rights.

Children

This site is for businesses. It is not meant for children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you think a child has sent us data, email us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle data, we update this page and the date at the top.
