On this page
theStacc sells two different things on one pricing page. One is software: Blog SEO at $99 a month for 30 articles, with $49 modules for Google Business Profile posts and for social media. The other is a managed service, where its strategists run the work for $749 to $1,299 a month. The page says so itself: "Software and managed service are different offers." The right alternative depends on which one you're paying for.
| Provider | Price | What's included | Replaces |
|---|---|---|---|
| theStacc | $99/month software; $749 to $1,299 managed | 30 articles a month; managed adds Google Business posts, social, and a hosted site at $1,299 | The plan you're on |
| 1. Elmrank | $500 first month, then $300/month | Site design, hosting, domain, technical SEO fixes, up to 30 articles a person approves, monthly report | Growth Complete |
| 2. Blawgy | $99/month ($69 billed annually) | 31 posts a month published to your blog, weekly report; no links, no technical fixes | Blog SEO software |
| 3. Portland Peak SEO | $450 or $950/month | 2 to 5 posts a month, technical fixes, Google Business Profile and review work, written report | Local Growth |
| 4. Unlimited Content | $600/month for 10 articles | 2 hours of technical SEO, press backlinks, publishing, monthly call | Managed, if you want links |
| 5. Koala AI | $25 to $99/month | A writing tool: 45,000 to 250,000 words a month; you run it | Blog SEO, if you'll do the work |
What each theStacc plan includes
The software plans are self-serve. Blog SEO plans topics from your business profile, drafts in your brand voice and publishes to WordPress, Webflow, Ghost and a few others, with approve-first, manual or autopilot controls. theStacc is plain about who checks the drafts: "your team still needs to supply accurate business facts and review the work." It works out its own unit price as "$99 divided by the entry plan's 30-article capacity is $3.30", and adds that this is capacity, not a promise that every slot gets published. There's a 3-day free trial.
The managed plans add people. Local Growth, $749 a month or $625 billed annually, publishes 30 blog articles and 15 Google Business posts, drafts review replies, sends weekly reports and includes a monthly strategy video call. Growth Pro, $999, adds 30 social posts across four networks. Growth Complete, $1,299, adds "AI-built website, hosted & managed" with monthly site updates, speed monitoring and security patches. Growth Complete billed monthly has a three-month minimum, $3,897 in total; billed annually it's $12,990 up front.
1. Elmrank: the site and the articles, without the social side
Our plan is closest to Growth Complete: a site we design and host, technical upkeep, and articles every month. It costs $500 for the first month and $300 a month after, against $1,299 a month. Over three months that's $1,100 with us and $3,897 at theStacc's minimum. You can cancel ours any month.
You'd give up four things Growth Complete does: we don't post to Google Business Profile, draft review replies, schedule social posts or hold a monthly strategy call. theStacc reports weekly; we report monthly, with what we published, what we fixed and your Search Console clicks and impressions. You can see a sample monthly report with real numbers, from a month when one of our own sites lost about half its clicks. We also don't have theStacc's free trial.
Against theStacc's software plans, you'd gain a person approving every article before it goes live. AI drafts them and our pipeline checks them against sources first, so the review the software leaves to your team is part of our price. For Growth Complete and the other managed plans, theStacc's pricing FAQ says to "agree who checks claims, handles corrections and approves publication", so ask them who that is before you compare. If your Google clicks haven't grown after 6 paid months in a row, compared with your first month, we process a refund, provided Search Console stays shared with us and the content stays up. Elmrank is a trading name of one person based in Vietnam, and we reply to email within 12 hours.
Pick it if: your site needs building or fixing and you want articles on it, and social posts aren't part of the plan.
Skip it if: your customers find you on Google Maps and social, and the blog is secondary.
2. Blawgy: the same $99, cheaper by the year
If you're on Blog SEO, Blawgy is the like-for-like option: $99 a month for 31 posts against theStacc's 30, or $69 a month billed annually. theStacc's yearly billing saves $204, which comes to about $82 a month. Blawgy connects to WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, Wix, Framer or Ghost and publishes a post a day. Review works much the same on both: you can preview each post or let them publish on their own, and Blawgy's FAQ says most customers switch preview off after the first week. Blawgy's report comes every Monday from your Search Console; theStacc's software describes a monthly PDF report. Blawgy has a 3-day free trial and a full refund within 30 days. theStacc also has a 3-day trial, and its terms give a 14-day money-back guarantee on first-time annual plans only: "Monthly plans are not refundable." Like theStacc's software, Blawgy doesn't fix your site or build links; its own table says "Technical site fixes: No".
Pick it if: you only use the blog module and want a lower yearly price, a weekly report and a 30-day refund window.
Skip it if: you rely on theStacc's Google Business Profile module. Blawgy doesn't have one.
3. Portland Peak SEO: local SEO at a lower monthly price
If you pay for Local Growth mainly for the Google Business Profile work, look at Portland Peak. Its Local plan is $450 a month and covers Google Business Profile and review work, technical fixes including Core Web Vitals, 2 to 3 blog posts a month and a monthly written report. Growth, at $950, raises the posts to 3 to 5. Both run month to month with no early-termination fee.
Pick it if: you want local SEO handled by people for about $300 a month less than Local Growth.
Skip it if: you want 30 articles a month. Portland Peak's plans top out at 8.
4. Unlimited Content: managed, with links
Unlimited Content's Starter plan is $600 a month for 10 articles, 2 hours of technical SEO updates, 5 or more press backlinks a month, publishing, a monthly review call and a dedicated specialist. Its 30-article plan is $2,200 a month. None of theStacc's plans list link building, so this is the option if links are what you're missing. Plans are month to month.
Pick it if: you want a managed service that builds links as well as publishing.
Skip it if: article count matters most. theStacc's managed plans publish 30 a month from $749.
5. Koala AI: cheaper than the software, more of your time
Koala is a writing tool at $25 a month for 45,000 words, $49 for 100,000 and $99 for 250,000, with images and internal links built in. You choose topics, check drafts and publish. Since theStacc's software already expects your team to review the work, Koala costs less for the same kind of effort if you're comfortable steering it.
Pick it if: you already edit theStacc drafts heavily and would rather write with a tool directly.
Skip it if: you chose theStacc so the publishing would run on a schedule without you.
When theStacc is the better choice
Stay with theStacc if your blog, Google Business Profile and social posts all matter and you want them in one dashboard, or if you run several locations: its Local SEO module supports multi-location work. Nothing else on this list covers the blog and the Google Business Profile with 30 articles a month for $749, or adds social for $999.
